Godric Insurance Services is operated by Godric C. Sam Otuh, an independent life insurance producer (NPN 22187995) licensed in Colorado, Florida, Pennsylvania, Texas, and Utah. This policy explains what information we collect through godricinsurance.com, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Information you give us in forms. When you use the pre-quote intake or choose to send your deep-dive answers, we collect what you enter, such as your name, age, height, weight, tobacco use, health and medication history, income, mortgage details, phone number, email address, and your answers about the coverage you want.
- Calculators. The FAST Calculator, quick estimate, and deep-dive questions run in your browser. What you enter there is not sent to us unless you choose to submit it.
- Scheduling. If you book a call, Calendly collects your name, email, and any details you provide for the appointment.
- Technical information. Our hosting and security provider may automatically log basic technical data, such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested, to deliver and protect the site.
How we use your information
- To prepare insurance quotes and recommendations for you.
- To contact you by phone, text, or email about your insurance inquiry and appointments.
- To help you apply for coverage if you decide to.
- To operate, secure, and improve the website, and to meet legal and regulatory requirements.
How we share your information
We only share the information you give us in our forms after you agree to it. Before you submit the pre-quote intake or the customized options form, you'll be asked to check a box confirming that you agree to share your information as described below. If you don't check the box, nothing is sent.
When you submit a form, your information may be shared with:
- Godric C. Sam Otuh, Godric Insurance Services. Your answers are sent to godric@godricinsurance.com so we can review your situation, prepare quotes and recommendations, and contact you about your inquiry.
- FormSubmit. This service delivers your form submission to our email. It handles the information only to deliver it to us.
- Calendly. If you book an appointment, Calendly collects your name, email, chosen time, and any details you add, so it can schedule the call.
- Cloudflare. Cloudflare hosts and secures the website. It may process basic technical data, such as your IP address, to deliver and protect the site.
- Insurance carriers. We share your information with insurance companies only when you ask us to get quotes or apply for coverage, and only what each carrier needs to evaluate you. If you decide to go through with an application, this includes your Social Security number, which carriers need to verify your identity, and your beneficiary's full name, Social Security number, and date of birth, which carriers need to process a death benefit.
This may include your name, birthday, age, height, weight, tobacco use, medical history, medications, occupation, beneficiary details (including your beneficiary's full name, Social Security number, and date of birth), your Social Security number, phone number, and email address.
When we ask for Social Security numbers. We will never ask for your Social Security number, or your beneficiary's, unless you choose to go ahead with an application. We do not request Social Security numbers in the pre-quote intake, the customized options form, or at any earlier step.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your health information with anyone for marketing. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights and the safety of others.
Information about other people
Our forms let you add a spouse or another person. If you enter someone else's information, including their health information, you confirm that you have their permission to share it with us for the same purposes described in this policy.
Text messaging (SMS) terms
If you check a consent box and provide your phone number, you agree that Godric Insurance Services may contact you by call or text about your insurance inquiry. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of purchase.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties, except service providers that help us deliver messages.
Email updates you agree to receive
When you check a consent box and submit your information, you also agree that Godric Insurance Services may send you one occasional email that covers two topics:
- Preparing for retirement, including annuities.
- Homeownership, paying extra on your home, and smarter ways to pay down your home and debts.
For retirement and annuity questions, Godric may connect you with a licensed specialist, and Godric may introduce you to someone who helps people find smarter ways to pay down their home and debts. We send this email only because you gave your consent, and only at a reasonable frequency, not a flood. Consent is not a condition of purchase. This information is educational and is not a promise of any result. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can stop these emails at any time by using that link or by emailing godric@godricinsurance.com.
Data retention
We keep your information only as long as needed to respond to your inquiry, service any policy you obtain, and meet legal, regulatory, and recordkeeping requirements. After that, we delete it or keep it in a form that no longer identifies you.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your rights and choices
You can ask to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or to stop receiving calls, texts, or emails from us. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state law. To make a request, contact us using the details below.
Children's privacy
This website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information online.
